1. Scope and information we handle
This policy covers BandMaster on the web and in its mobile apps. We handle:
- account and profile information, such as contact details, sign-in identifiers, name, photo, language, and musical roles;
- workspace and membership information, including bands, permissions, invitations, schedules, availability, and notifications;
- content you provide, such as audio, recordings, stems, links, lyrics, chords, scores, PDFs, annotations, notes, and comments;
- device, usage, consent, diagnostic, support, and transaction information needed to operate the service.
2. Why we use information
We use information to provide accounts and collaboration, process and play content, manage memberships and schedules, deliver communications, provide support, take payments, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, meet legal obligations, and improve BandMaster where you have made the required choice.
3. Sharing and service providers
Workspace information is shared with people according to the permissions and public-sharing settings chosen in BandMaster. We may use providers for authentication and databases, cloud hosting and file delivery, payments, communications and push notifications, analytics and error monitoring, customer support, and content processing.
When you invoke an AI feature, the content needed for that request may be sent to a third-party AI processing provider. We do not send content to an AI provider unless you use a feature that requires it.
Payment details are handled by a payment processor. BandMaster does not store full card numbers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, rights, and the service.
4. International processing and protection
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, BandMaster uses contractual or other recognized measures and requires third parties handling personal information to provide the same or equivalent protection.
5. Consent and choices
Necessary storage supports sign-in, security, preferences, and requested product functions. Optional analytics or marketing operates only after the required choice. You can reject optional uses or withdraw consent through Privacy choices. Withdrawal stops future optional collection but does not erase information already processed lawfully.
When you allow Analytics, BandMaster may use Google Analytics to measure product and website use with a pseudonymous browser or app analytics identifier. BandMaster may associate verified purchase, renewal, refund, and cancellation events with that opted-in identifier to measure subscription activity. We do not send your BandMaster account or workspace ID, email, name, song titles, lyrics, media files, or uploaded content to Google Analytics in those events. Stripe, app-store, and BandMaster records remain the source of truth for billing.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep information while it is needed to provide BandMaster, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, secure the service, and maintain necessary records. Ordinary workspace or content deletion hides the item from user-facing product views while preserving an internal archive. It is not a user-facing recovery feature. A verified account or privacy-erasure request is handled separately and may permanently remove personal information, subject to legal, billing, security, backup, and shared-workspace obligations.
You can request account deletion in Settings or contact support@bandmaster.ai. Device-only guest data can be removed from the device.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, receive a copy of information, or complain to a regulator. We may need to verify your identity. BandMaster does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Safeguards, children, and contact
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee complete security. BandMaster is not directed to children under 13 or a higher minimum age required in their country.
