Home and Navigation
Home is the first screen you see after signing in. It shows the active performances, bands, and saved setlists for your current workspace rather than combining every Space and Band in your account. Archived performances are omitted from the Home schedule.
Home
Use the filters to show all performances, sets that are ready to play, upcoming performances, or past sets. The main view can include:
- A featured performance with a shortcut to its detail page and setlist playback
- Bands in the current workspace
- Ready-to-play and upcoming setlists
- Setlists visible elsewhere in the current Space
- Recent performances and saved library items
If the workspace has no active performances, Home shows its bands and an empty state. If Home cannot refresh the selected workspace, use Retry; data from the previous workspace is not kept on screen.
Primary Navigation
BandMaster has four primary destinations:
| Destination | What it opens |
|---|---|
| Home | The current workspace landing page |
| Calendar | The existing calendar and chronological performance list |
| Library | Saved playlists and reusable music |
| Search | Workspace and public-directory search |
On desktop and tablet, these destinations appear in the left sidebar. On compact screens, they appear in the bottom navigation. The current destination stays selected while you open its detail pages; for example, performance details remain part of Calendar.
Older /orgs and /bands list links return to Home. Existing Space, Band, performance, playlist, editor, and public links still open their detail pages.
Switching Workspaces
Open the workspace switcher above the desktop navigation or in the compact header. It lists the Spaces and Bands available to your account, including independent Bands and expandable child Bands. The current workspace is marked with a check.
Selecting a workspace immediately refreshes Home, Calendar, Library, and Search for that context. Your selection is saved separately for each account on the device.
The switcher also provides the supported workspace actions:
- Create a Space
- Create a Band in the current Space when your role allows it, or create an independent Band
- Browse public Bands and Spaces to request access
- Refresh or retry if the workspace list cannot be loaded
If you have no available workspace, use the create or public-discovery actions in the switcher.
Search
Search looks through songs, setlists, Bands, and Spaces in the current workspace and through the public BandMaster directory. Enter a name, song title, or date, then select a result to open it.
BandMaster identifies public results and explains when some private results are unavailable because of permissions or a temporary loading error. Available results remain usable, and failed sources provide a Retry action. An empty query shows a prompt, while a completed search with no matches shows a no-results message.
